An engineered wood flooring – is a two-layer floor, which are produced industrially by gluing two layers of wood. Engineered hardwood boards are glued together in a cold way, using EPI glue, that adhesives to resistance class D4, according to EN204. The top layer of parquet is 4 or 6 mm thickness, one strip oak lamella. This layer ensures the durability of wood floor, creates surface pattern exclusivity and elegance. The second layer – the multi-layered birch plywood, which is responsible for the stability of the engineered wood floors, protecting it from deformation.
Engineered hardwood boards are with tongues and grooves, has two edges bevels on the long sides. Engineered parquet are usually laid on the heated base for good thermal conductivity.
The STAKI range of flooring is a rustic grade. This means that the planks will have much of the marks and variations found in this kind of natural product.
Sounds and sprung knots of any size are permited, with spring knots all being filled and sanded. Cracks on the end or surface of the boards are permitted, all being filled and sanded. The timber may have natural colour variation within each board, it may also contain sapwood without limitations.
