Each block is manufactured from solid 22mm European Oak and features a traditional tongue-and-groove joint on all four sides, providing a precise connection between blocks when installed in a herringbone pattern. The blocks are supplied unfinished, allowing them to be sanded and finished on site to achieve your preferred colour and level of protection.

Refined Prime Grade Oak
Prime Grade European Oak is selected for its cleaner and more uniform appearance, while still retaining the natural character of genuine oak. The grading allows occasional sound knots of up to approximately 10mm and occasional filled knots up to approximately 5mm, with only minimal edge and core sapwood permitted.
Natural colour variation and a mixture of natural grain patterns are also allowed, ensuring the finished floor maintains an authentic timber appearance without the heavier knotting associated with rustic-grade oak.

An unfinished surface also allows the natural grain and character of the European Oak to be enhanced according to the desired look, from a light natural oak appearance to a richer, warmer finish.
Solid 22mm Construction
With a substantial 22mm solid wood construction, these oak blocks provide the authentic feel and character associated with traditional solid parquet flooring. The tongue-and-groove construction is designed for a fully bonded installation, with the manufacturer recommending the glued/stuck-down installation method.
Technical Performance
The product data sheet specifies a density of approximately 650 kg/m³, a Cfl-s1 reaction-to-fire classification, Class E1 / Zero Emissions formaldehyde classification, and a thermal conductivity of approximately 0.16 W/m K for the 22mm construction.
The flooring is manufactured to EN 14342:2005+A1:2008 and carries a 25-year guarantee, covering the structural integrity of the product subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
Installation & Maintenance
The recommended installation method is glued/stuck down, with the fully bonded method recommended. Installation should be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s flooring guidelines.
For everyday care, regular sweeping or vacuuming is recommended to remove grit and dust. Suitable cleaning and maintenance products should be selected according to the final oil or lacquer finish applied to the floor.
